Teaser from the Cover Story:

The day Johnny Cash died, my phone rang at 7AM. Since I was out of town at the time, the sound prompted a mixture of panic and annoyance because if it wasno™t an emergency back home, my short nighto™s sleep had just been ruined. It was my wife and she told me Johnny Cash had died earlier that morning. I wasno™t exactly surprised because his health had been steadily declining over the years. And living in Nashville, I was used to frequent reports of his trips to the hospital. But Johnny always recovered and went home to Hendersonville or back to the warmth of Jamaica, where he and June spent time during the winter months. So, I spoke with my loving better half and we agreed that it was sad and one of the biggest losses weo™d seen in the music world, maybe ever. I could not sleep so I turned on the Today show and naturally, it was the top story of the day. It was finally sinking in, another legend was gone.
